Rich was born and raised in Mount Airy, North Carolina. He played many sprots but excelled in football where he would spend two years at Greensboro College honing his craft. He moved on to UNC Charlotte where he would graduate with a double major in Psychology and Criminology. After graduating and moving to Roanoke, VA, Rich would reconnect with his high school sweetheart and move to the Jacksonville area for his wife’s naval career.

Rich is married to Amanda Gwyn, and they have two boys attending school in Swansboro. He enjoys camping, golf, and archery. He is always in the mood for a Star Wars marathon or binging the latest fantasy book series. Rich brings high energy, professionalism, and a charming southern politeness to his duties in our Jacksonville criminal defense office.
