Louis A. Di Filippo works in our Jacksonville office as an associate attorney, focusing his practice on criminal defense. Before joining Silva, Kiernan & Associates, he served as a prosecutor with the Onslow County District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a wide range of criminal matters.

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mr. Di Filippo earned his Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University. He went on to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude.

During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Di Filippo managed numerous criminal cases, gaining extensive experience with offenses ranging from impaired driving and drug charges to assaults and other serious criminal matters. His background in prosecution provides him with valuable insight into how the State builds its cases, allowing him to evaluate evidence strategically and advocate effectively for his clients.
